Park Description

Criccieth Caravan Park acts as a peaceful retreat near mountains and sea, giving you the best of both worlds from your holiday home destination. Situated on the outskirts of the town of Criccieth, Criccieth Caravan Park is set on 8 acres of grassy hillside, a perfect setting for the young and old alike.

Criccieth can be found at the start of the Llyn Peninsula, just a short distance away from the coastal resorts of Pwllheli and Abersoch, along with the historic town of Caernarfon. Criccieth is home to a marvellous medieval castle, which is sat upon a rocky headland overlooking the two beaches of the town. Along with the castle and its beaches, Criccieth is the perfect location to spend an afternoon lazing through the town, doing a spot of retail therapy, before indulging in a meal of freshly cooked local produce, in one of the town’s best restaurants.

This region of North Wales is often famed after for its very own micro climate, making those holidays spent during the summer months, feel more like being abroad than in North Wales. Days out can be spent at the neighbouring beaches of Pwllheli and Abersoch, trying your hand at a whole host of water sports including jet-skiing, water skiing and wake boarding. Making Criccieth Caravan Park the perfect location if you want to combine tranquillity with adventure.

Local Area

The Lleyn Peninsula is a peninsula of some 30 miles located south west of Anglesey. The area is best known for its miles of sandy beaches, stunning inland scenery and as a focal point for water sports fans. There is a modern marina at Pwllheli and surfing, sailing, kayaking and jet skiing particularly popular at locations such as Abersoch. The area also boasts a number of good golf courses.

Very popular with younger people and young families, many parks in the area offer longer seasons and many owners enjoy longer stays or commute for the weekends.

Main towns include Porthmadog, Pwllheli, Morfa Nefyn, Criccieth and Abersoch.

Although it takes a little longer to the Lleyn Peninsula, travel is easy from the Midlands and north west.
