Park Description

Situated near the river Afon Llynor, Hendwr Caravan Park lies at the base of the Berwyn Mountain Range, in-between the Welsh market towns of Bala and Corwen. Situated on the edge of the Snowdonia Mountain Range, in the awe inspiring Dee Valley, Hendwr Caravan Park is part of an area of outstanding natural beauty.

Hendwr Caravan Park makes up part of a working sheep and beef farm, divided from the park via a meandering stream. Set in a countryside setting, the park provides guests with stunning scenery and a range of walks which can be started from the park. If you want to get your adrenaline pumping, Coed Llandegla and Coed y Brenin, two of the country’s best mountain biking trails are only a short distance away, along with the Welsh White Water Centre, where you can try your hand at white water rafting.

Local Area

This inland area of North Wales is epitomised by a gentler rolling countryside than Snowdonia. It is the ideal area for outdoor pursuits including cycling, walking, white-water rafting and kayaking.

A major bonus of this area is the short travelling time from the Midlands and Cheshire allowing caravan holiday home owners to enjoy short breaks or weekends away with minimal planning and travel time.

Parks vary from small private parks tucked away in the countryside to large parks with all the facilities you would expect of a family holiday park.

Main towns include Wrexham, Mold, Denbigh, Llangollen, Corwen and Bala.
