Park Description

Llawr Betws is a small privately owned and run peaceful and quiet caravan park situated midway between Bala and Corwen sandwiched between the edge of the Snowdonia National Park and the Clwydian Range & Dee Valley Area of Outstanding Beauty. The park is also within sight of the Berwyn Mountains which have been highlighted on TV and for awards.

The park has fibre to the premises and the laundry facilities were upgraded last year. The park has metered piped gas and electric to the caravans together with water and sewerage to each pitch. The pitches are large and spacious and most can accommodate caravans of at least 30 x 12 foot wide.

Having completed a new development last September their new area, Berwyn View, has fantastic news of the surrounding countryside and hills and mountains where you can sit and admire the far reaching views whilst enjoying a BBQ or a drink from your caravan. The concrete pitches on this area of the park are 40 x 14 foot wide and have private parking to the side of the pitch.

The park is situated in a great place to visit various places including Betws Y Coed, Llangollen, Bala, Corwen and Ruthin. The west and north Wales coasts are within an hour of the park also. Attractions nearby include Zip world, Surf Snowdonia, Rhug Estate, Bala Lake, National White Water Rafting Centre, Bala Lake Railway, Pontcystyle Aqueduct and Llangollen Railway. There are some lovely walks from the park along the country lanes around the park.

The holiday season extends from March 1st through to January 8th annually.

Local Area

This inland area of North Wales is epitomised by a gentler rolling countryside than Snowdonia. It is the ideal area for outdoor pursuits including cycling, walking, white-water rafting and kayaking.

A major bonus of this area is the short travelling time from the Midlands and Cheshire allowing caravan holiday home owners to enjoy short breaks or weekends away with minimal planning and travel time.

Parks vary from small private parks tucked away in the countryside to large parks with all the facilities you would expect of a family holiday park.

Main towns include Wrexham, Mold, Denbigh, Llangollen, Corwen and Bala.
