Park Description

Tyddyn Heilyn Caravan Park is an immaculate, small, quiet, sheltered family run park. The famous ‘Lon Goed’ goes through the farmland here. The Lon Goed is a 6 mile stretch of oak and elm lined roofed wide footpath that goes through magnificent countryside ideal for walkers and wildlife lovers alike and has some lovely scenery. Tyddyn Heilyn is very central whichever direction one wants to go. Tyddyn Heilyn is near the edge of the Snowdonia National Park yet near the nice beaches.

Pwllheli is the unofficial capital of The Llyn Peninsula, in Northwest Wales. Much of The Llyn Peninsula is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and Pwllheli is an ideal base to explore this area, as well as nearby Snowdonia, Anglesey and the western coast of Wales.

The impressive new marina is now one of the best in Wales, with 24 hour access and all the services boaters need. The marina berths over 400 boats and there is space for visitors to moor up overnight. The marina has brought many more boaters to Pwllheli and helped other aspects of tourism in the area.

Local Area

The Lleyn Peninsula is a peninsula of some 30 miles located south west of Anglesey. The area is best known for its miles of sandy beaches, stunning inland scenery and as a focal point for water sports fans. There is a modern marina at Pwllheli and surfing, sailing, kayaking and jet skiing particularly popular at locations such as Abersoch. The area also boasts a number of good golf courses.

Very popular with younger people and young families, many parks in the area offer longer seasons and many owners enjoy longer stays or commute for the weekends.

Main towns include Porthmadog, Pwllheli, Morfa Nefyn, Criccieth and Abersoch.

Although it takes a little longer to the Lleyn Peninsula, travel is easy from the Midlands and north west.
